The Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association (FPAA) is a nonprofit corporation whose members are the 20 elected State Attorneys and over 1900 Assistant State Attorneys created to serve the needs of prosecutors. The primary function of the Association office is education through seminars, publications and technical support.

In addition to the written materials that accompany each seminar, the FPAA has produced the following publications: Domestic Violence Trial Notebook, Sex Crimes Trial Notebook, Domestic Violence Resource Manual, the DV/Sex Crimes Newsletter, the DUI Network News, Hot Topics List, the FPAA Trial Notebook and the Juvenile Prosecution Resource Manual.
 
The FPAA is governed by a Board comprised of the 20 elected State Attorneys. The FPAA office consists of an Executive Director and two Administrative Assistants.
 
STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS LEGISLATION 
 
The student loan forgiveness for prosecutors legislation has been passed by Congress and signed by the President. Click here to learn more about the specific provisions of the “John R. Justice Prosecutors and Defenders Incentive Act of 2008”.
 
To visit the Committee website and to view the complete bill, is available on the Senate's website. This piece of legislation will still require a specific appropriation to implement it. More information on student loan forgiveness programs can be found through the American Bar Association or by visiting FinAid.
